Aerodynamik der Luft- und Raumfahrzeugen

Aerodynamik unkonventioneller Flug­zeug­konfigurationen

Die Entwicklung und Anwendung von numerischen Verfahren (Euler- und Navier-Stokes-Verfahren) für stationäre und instationäre aerodynamische Problemstellungen bei unkonventionellen Flug­zeug­konfigur­ationen dienen zur verbesserten Vorhersage der Flugeigenschaften derselben.

Da das konventionelle Design von Verkehrsflugzeugen immer mehr an seine Grenzen stößt, sind in mittlerer Zukunft auch bisher nur als Studien bekannte Flugzeugkonfigurationen von Interesse. Dazu müssen allerdings deren Flugeigenschaften möglichst genau vorhergesagt werden, um die Leistungsfähigkeit des Designs unter Beweis zu stellen.
